Glossary of Terms

Total Value: On the collection page, this denotes the total value of all items within the collection.

Floor Price: On the collection page, this denotes the lowest price of any individual item within the collection.

Best Offer: On the collection page, this represents the highest bid for an individual item within the collection.

Wallet: Wallet refers to a cryptocurrency wallet. In this case, Metamask, Coinbase or …. Can be used.

Ownership: Refers to the current and all previous owners of an NFT.

Unique Items vs. Total Items: Whilst each NFT is its own item, a creator may have minted multiple copies of the same piece of art. This means that multiple individual NFTs may exist representing one piece. Even in this case, each NFT, remains its own token. For example, if a creator made 20 NFTs from a single piece of art, there would be 1 Unique Item and 20 Total Items, but each item is tracked individually on the blockchain.

Royalties: An NFT royalty is a percentage of the sale price of an NFT that is pre-defined and paid to the creator or original owner each time their work is resold. With Fundation, this feature allows NGOs to continue profiting from their NFTs in perpetuity.
